As an industry veteran I've always felt that the process of developing a national
hit record is one of the most difficult to achieve & most mis-understand
aspects of our business. For those lucky few, the growth process will start
with an "Add" on Music Row (a huge achievevement by itself) and after "upward
chart movement" and strong promotional support, will hopefully "crossover" to
Billboard, where major radio stations in bigger markets will play it. |
