This is the band  fronted by Laura Pratt a lady whose super voice is perfectly suited for what the band does. A great mix of cutting edge country flavored rock and some carefully chosen reworked classics. True West is one of the regular bands at Amvets Country Dance Club in Chicopee MA, played at The Washington County Fair in RI, the same day Andy Griggs & Rhett Akins performed there. They've also played the last two summer's on the Half Shell stage at Hampton Beach NH and play regularly at two legendary local bars, the Pleasant Cafe, Maynard MA and Franco's Italian Pizzeria in Waltham MA

Laura Pratt's musical tastes cover the Dixie Chicks, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and Carrie Underwood. The harmonies are crisp and the guys sing lead to!
