They call me the breeze, I keep blowin' down the road. Well now, they call me the
breeze, I keep blowin' down the road. I ain't got me nobody, I don't carry me
no load. Ain't no change in the weather, ain't no changes in me. Well, there ain't no change in the weather, ain't no changes in me. And I ain't hidin' from nobody, nobody's hidin' from me. Well I got that green light, baby, I got to keep movin' on. Well I got that green light, baby, I got to keep movin' on. Well, I might go out to California, might go down to Georgia, I don't know. Well, I dig you Georgia peaches, makes me feel right at home. Now well, I dig you Georgia peaches, makes me feel right at home. But I don't love me no one woman so I can't stay in Georgia long. Well now, they call me the breeze, I keep blowin' down the road. Well now, they call me the breeze, I keep blowin' down the road. I ain't got me nobody, I don't carry me no load. |

Cale is famous among musicians, but most people have never heard of him. Eric Clapton
covered some of his songs, including "Cocaine," "After Midnight," and "Travellin'
Light." This was one of the few cover songs Skynyrd recorded. They recorded another Cale song, "Same Old Blues," on their 1976 album Gimme Back My Bullets. During the sessions for this track, John Lennon came by the studio to say hello. |

Mr. Breeze played it's first gig in January 2002 and from the beginning have remained
true to the original Lynyrd Skynyrd arrangements. No details are to small. The band is faithful to the Ronnie Van Zant material, with only a few exceptions. <Be sure to check out the You Tube video clips -which include live cuts from a concert held at Stepping Stone Ranch in Rhode Island to benefit the victims and families of the horrific 2003 Station Nite Club Fire in West Warwick RI> The boys have played at some great rock places & outside venues like: The Music Lady in Plainfield CT; The Beach House in Portsmouth RI; The Yard in Manchester NH, Crossroads Route 20 Sports Pub in Palmer MA, "a great gig "a southern rock & rock party with a super band, No Limitz, at Littleton (NH), the Warren RI Quahog Festival and the most unforgettable -The Live Show at Stepping Stone Ranch Escohaog RI and now we can add two great Fairs to that list. The Washington County Fair Richmond RI and and The Schaghticoke Fair, in Schaghticoke NY and we have more places to play. . When Mr. Breeze performs, the first part of the show includes many of the greatest
southern rock songs ever recorded by legendary bands like: The Allman Brothers,
ZZ Top, Molly Hatchet and The Marshall Tucker Band. An ALL SOUTHERN ROCK PARTY,
which continues with an extended Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute set, both electric
and acoustic. Mr. Breeze will play the whole night at most venues without an opening band and perform
two big shows outside. Mr. Breeze will throw the biggest and baddest SOUTHERN
ROCK PARTY this side of the Mississippi. The boys are looking forward to
seeing all their old friends as well as meeting a whole lot of new ones. |
