Bobby Carlson has always had the ability to understand what people want to hear, and entertain them at the same time. It's why he's always been a working musician and a solid entertainer. At Mishnock Barn in Rhode Island he draws a big "all age"crowd. that loves to party to both Bobby's cover songs and his original. "Paper Plates & Dixie Cups," which has been choreographed and made into a country dance there.
Like any truly professional artist Bobby understands that the show must go on. With heavy hearts, a week after his legendary band mate, Richie Dubuis, passed away, Bobby and his Stones River Band took the stage in Bristol RI as the opening act for Warner Bros recording artists, SIXWIRE. The huge crowd, must have loved the show, because BC & SR will have now played there three times if you include the 2017 show with Buddy Jewell.
Bobby Carlson & Stones River is Buddy Jewell's official band in the notheast, but they are available for limited shows as a featured act. Their sound is made up of carefully chosen comtemporary hits, a good mix of yesterday and a few originals. A wide variety of country music.
