Bobby Carlson is one of the northeast regions most popular and best known artists..25 years ago he helped create a legendary Rhode Island band called Silver Saddle, whose members were so respected that when the group broke up the players went on to other acts like: Crisis, The Goat Ropers, and Almost Cowboyz, -The Goat Ropers are still together & commanding sizable money on the New England club and concert circuit.
Bobby Carlson found success in Nashville. While signed to Lofton Creek Records, his tunes "Paper Plates & Dixie Cups," and "She's Got My Heart," reached the top 40 on the Music Row Breakout Chart. on March 3, 2004 After a few years touring, Bobby came home to form the Stones River Band. Now they play every summer at the legendary concert venue, Indian Ranch in Webster MA. In 2011, they were staged with Aaron Tippin. In 2010 it was with Charlie Daniels, and in another show, Sammy Kershaw. Bobby Carlson has worked several other venues with big acts like: Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack, Darryl Worley, LeAnn Rimes, John Anderson & Tanya Tucker. Bobby has performed to big crowds at the sea shell stage at Hampton Beach NH. Headlinning dates confirmed for this summer, The NA Firefighters Kids Day in North Attleboro MA, the Hartford County Fair and, the band will play on Wednesday June 27 in Bristol RI as part of the town's legendary and huge Independance Day festivities. During the cooler months Bobby plays regularly at several of New England's hottest nite spots, like: Midnight Rodeo in Manchester NH, where one of his originals, "Paper Plates & Dixie Cups," has been choreographed and made into a country line dance, and a brand new country music spot called Rain Country in Malden MA, where the young crowd loves to party to both his cover hits, and originals. That in-turn lead to people wanting to buy his CD, which convinced Bobby to re-issue it All this buzz lead to on-air interviews and actual radio air play and after performing a

series of showcases during CMA /FanFest in June 2011 in Nashville, was followed by a great review of the disc by Cashbox Magazine and his song "She's Got My Heart," appearing on the Cashbox Country Singles Chart, as an EXTRA in both the US and Canada the week of Oct 12, and as busy

as everything has been when the Diamond Rodeo in Cranston RI started having live bands, it was Bobby Carlson & Stones River there to kick it off and now the guys play there about every 8 weeks, and as more people hear them, and more people see them, more people become fans.The guys now have the distiction of being the only live band that plays at Mishnock Barn in West Greenwich RI, a place with huge dance floors, and featuring most of the time DJ's and dance teachers only.
