The entertainment business has always been a part of my life. From my earliest memories thru my teen years my family operated movie theaters in Rhode Island and we booked a whole lot more than movies. The circus, vaudeville shows, concerts and live plays. I gravitated to radio, working fulltime, for several major market R & R and Billboard reporters mostly doing country but also  jazz, rock & pop, often doubling as music director. It gave me a real insight into how the biz works. After 17 years in broadcasting I started working with musicians fulltime and managed two national acts. Ken Lyon & Tombstone (on the Columbia label) and Big Al Downing, who had four charted singles on Warner Bros-Nashville, three of which reached the Billboard top 20 -and was named by Billboard Magazine "Singles Artist of the Year." and "New Artist of the Year," Now we have available one of country's most succseeful acts, Shenandoahand, plus Ricochet and Baillie and The Boys --"featuring Kathie and Michael," and some of New England's best country, rock and southern rock, including Barefoot Rebel - "The Lynyrd Skynyrd Show"; "New England's Hometown Country Band," Southbound Train; David Tessier's All Star Band of All Stars; and so many more. s I've written "music related" articles & reviews, produced larger scale events, spoken at music business related affairs  and provided entertainment for a wide variety of activities..

A major part of what we've always done & will continue doing is maintain a solid line of communication with those who manage dance halls, private dance clubs, sports bars & restaurants. Corporate event organizers. The committee's for country fairs, festivals and schools, concerts-on-the-commons (type events), concert promoters, other talent buyers and those planning life's historic events like a: wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Christening, birthday, retirement or holiday party. We pledge to always provide high quality, professional talent regardless of venue size or type of event. We listen to & work hard for our clients.  Please listen to and watch the music clips you'll see referenced on several of our pages and visit individual band sites to learn even more about our entertainment. I think you'll find it to be a convenient and helpful experience and of course I will always be here to answer your questions and will visit you personally so we can become familiar with each other and if you prefer we can chat on ZOOM. After-all I want to supply your entertainment needs and will work to achieve that.

We encourage those artists we represent, matching their talent(s) with our know-how (including our sense of fair-play) to help them achieve a high level of success. At times I may seem to be outspoken and you and I may not always agree but unless we can communicate we can't work together.

As ole fashioned as it sounds we promise our clients' a business relationship built on trust & sincerity. Whether you work with us directly or not contact me at anytime for  honest advice.

Testimonial

"I would like to thank you for all the hard work and excellent choices in talent that you came up with for the Schaghticoke Fair. Buddy Jewell is a natural, very talented and excellent singer/songwriter. His show and back-up band were outstanding and drew a very good crowd. He played his big hits and newer songs too! Your Lynyrd Skynyrd band worked the crowds well with their southern rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd sets. One would get the feeling that they aren't doing a tribute but actually living the era of southern rock." Feel free to use my name as a reference anytime you approach other New York State fairs and I will do what I can to support you."

Jim Staats, Big House Entertainment Group Inc. Talent buyer Schaghticoke Fair, Schaghticoke NY.

"I wanted to drop you a note to tell you how much everyone enjoyed Bobby Carlson and Stones River.
They did a great job!  The kids on the committee were extremely happy with our choice.  We may want them back again next year.  Thanks again for suggesting them to us and for working with me and the kids  to make sure we had the perfect music for our fair.  You guys are awesome."

Ron Horn, President, Hartford County 4-H Fair, Somers CT.

"Two years in a row we've had Buddy Jewell come home and put on a great show. This year was even better because we also had Shenandoah, The Confederate Railroad and Andy Griggs. It was good working with you again and finally meeting you."

Jim Bellow, Benton Freedom Festival, Benton Arkansas.
